Brothers and Sisters it hurts us beyond words to have to postpone a show. We rarely do it, but in certain circumstances, it is beyond our control. The roads in and around Tennessee are in bad shape and not looking to improve before our show at The Ryman tomorrow night. We don't want to put anyone at risk. We also know that some of you are on the way. While we understand you have already traveled a great distance, we cannot risk everyone else trying to get to Nashville. We are rescheduling the show for April 3rd, 2015.
All tickets as well as our VIP meet and greet purchases will be honored at the rescheduled date. For fans that cannot attend the new date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
We will also work with the local government to help with any relief the community may need after this storm has passed. Thank you all for your constant support on the road and with the new album.

It’s a wintery night in Manchester, but inside the steamy confines of the Ritz club teenage blues wunderkind Aaron Keylock is warming up the audience in the sold-out 1,500-capacity venue for tonight’s main attraction.
On a sofa on the balcony, one fifth of that main attraction is watching proceedings with interest. Richard Turner, bassist with new southern rock kings Blackberry Smoke, is a towering, shaggy-haired, leather-trousered giraffe of a man, but no one has noticed him yet.
Or they hadn’t until one member of the audience bounds over and promptly drops his trousers. For an alarming second, he looks poised to make an indecent proposition. But then the reason for his exhibitionism becomes clear: his thigh is adorned with a large, ornate Blackberry Smoke logo.
Firmly clasping Turner’s own thigh, he pulls his trousers back up. “In 1969 I discovered Hank Marvin!” he bellows. “In 1976 I discovered Lynyrd Skynyrd! And about eight years ago I discovered Blackberry Smoke. You’re the best fucking band in the world!”
Over-enthusiasm aside, he may have a point. Right now Blackberry Smoke are the best band in the world at what they do. They come from the same ‘Stetsons ’n’ Southern Comfort’ school of music as Lynyrd Skynyrd, but rather than just churn out knackered old Free Bird rip-offs they blend bluegrass, Delta, gospel, classic rock and even metal in their music – a bourbon-soaked trucker beard of countrified cheer for people who also love Aerosmith and Metallica. This is 21st-century southern rock’n’roll. And, it seems, it’s worth dropping your trousers for.
Turner takes it well, even as more fans stream across and ask for photos on their phone. “Fans are mostly pretty well-behaved in the UK,” he says, as his gaggle of new friends eventually disperse.

Blackberry Smoke have packed up their Gibson guitars and left Zac Brown's Southern Ground label, joining the roster of Rounder Records just in time for the February 2015 release of the band's fourth album, Holding All the Roses. Produced by Brendan O'Brien — the studio powerhouse behind records by Neil Young, Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen — Rosestakes its cues from the band's back catalog, offering up another sturdy, scuzzy blend of country crunch and rock & roll rasp. After logging more than 250 shows annually for most of the last decade, Blackberry Smoke took a fast and furious approach to the recording process, wrapping up the entire album in just over a week.
Like Blackberry Smoke, O'Brien hails from Atlanta, where he kicked off his career as a substitute bassist for the Georgia Satellites before pulling double duty as recording engineer and studio musician on the Black Crowes' multi-platinum debut, Shake Your Money Maker. Smoke leader Charlie Starr and the other four members of the band grew up listening to O'Brien's records, and their decision to record Holding All the Roses with a fellow Atlantan — especially after amicably leaving the label of Zac Brown, another hometown hero — smartly keeps the band's roots planted in the same soil that housed their earliest bar gigs.
"[O'Brien's] an old Atlanta guy," Starr told Rolling Stone Country in July, "and I think a few of us had met him and hung out with him over the years, way back in the day, but this is a new experience for us as a band. We recorded live [in the studio] a lot again, and we tried a few different things, as well."
When it comes time to promote the new record in early 2015, though, Blackberry Smoke will go back to their tried-and-true method of touring at a rugged, relentless pace. The 2015 shows kick off in early February and currently stretch as far as May, with the band playing iconic venues like Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and New York City's Webster Hall along the way.
